Dear Chinese Government Scholarship recipients,

The annual review of Chinese government scholarship recipients is in process. This year the annual review will be carried out online. If awardees are not able to pass the annual review, the scholarship will be suspended or canceled. Details are as follows:

1. Students who have to participate in the annual review

1. Thosewho want to be re-awarded a Chinese government scholarship after August2026;
2. Thosewhohad planned to graduate in July 2026but have filed to extend their studiesand have met the extension requirements(only for doctoral students);
3. Those who ever suspended their studies or now in suspension and thus their graduation has been postponed to July 2026or January 2027, but are not able to graduate in the aforementioned month and plan to extend their studies (only for doctoral students);
4. Those who will not be able to graduate on time as the study plan but have already got official notice that their scholarship will be extended;
5. Those who did not pass last year’s annual review and the Chinese government scholarship was suspended;
6. Students who are now in the process of withdrawal from SDU are not required to participate in the annual review:
7. Doctoral students who has ever been granted extension of scholarshipsand the graduation has been postponed to July 2026are not allowed to participate in annual review.

2. What is taken into consideration？

1. Morality, mainly including attitudes towards China, obedience of Chinese laws, obedience of Shandong University’s regulations, individual behaviorand performance in dormitory;
2. Academic performance, including academic records of the first semester, and the evaluation of thesis proposal;
3. Study and research attitudes, including attendance and devotion in classes and research, completion of assignments;
4. Participation in activities, including participation and achievements in any activity in 2025/2026academic year, such as academic, sporting and cultural activities, volunteering and so on.
5. Chinese government scholarship recipients receive a score based on the above mentioned four criteria, and the maximum score is 100. Those who get less than 60 will be deemed as failing to pass the annual review. After getting approval from the China Scholarship Council, the scholarship to the awardees will be suspended or canceled.

3. Self-assessment

   This year, self-assessment will be carried out both onlineand offline. For how to finish online self-assessment, please refer to the document Guidance of system operation for students(Attachment 1) .At the same time, the Form for Annual Review of Scholarshipsigned by yourself (Attachment 2) should be submitted to your school.

   The self-assessment begins from April 27th, 2026and ends on May 11th, 2026. Please finish within the given period.

4. Assessment from your tutor

   This year, every student in Qilu Hospital should get a score and evaluation from your tutor, please use the document The Scoring Table-中国政府奖学金年度评审定量打分表.(Attachment 3).

   The self-assessment begins from April 26th, 2026and ends on May 11th, 2026. Please finish within the given period.

   The form should be submitted to Miss Sun .
