Dr. Xin Feng is an Associate Professor of Department of Otolaryngology, Qilu hospital of Shandong University. He received his medical and doctoral degrees from Shandong University and pursued post-doctoral training at the Asthma and Allergic Diseases Center, University of Virginia. He serves as the principal investigator for the National Natural Science Foundation of China(81700890), Shandong Provincial Key Research and Development Program, China(2019GSF108227) and Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province (ZR2017BH115). He has published extensively on nasal polys and asthma, such as in J Allergy Clin Immunol and Am J Respir Cell Mol Biol. His clinical practice focuses on nasal endoscopic surgery, especially in the minimally-invasive treatment of rhinologic diseases and skull base tumor. His research interests includes the pathogenesis of nasal polys, chronic rhinosinusitis and allergic rhinitis, the relationship between the rhinologic diseases and asthma, the mechanism that rhinovirus aggravate asthma and rhinologic diseases. He won the Outstanding Young Doctor Prize of Shandong Province(2020), Excellent Scientific Research Achievement Award of Shandong University(2017) and the Outstanding Young Doctor Prize of Qilu Hospital(2020). He is member of Rhinologic Group of Research Hospital Association of Shandong Province, Nasal Endoscopic Group of Shandong Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, Rhinosinusitis Group of Research Hospital Association of Shandong Province. He also serves as the secretary of Otorhinolaryngology Board of Shandong Endoscopic Surgery Quality Control Center.
