Prof. Li is the chief physician and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Otolaryngology, Qilu Hospital of Shandong University; deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Otolaryngology, National Health Commission. He serves as the deputy director of Chinese medical doctor association of sleep medicine, deputy director of Chinese society for the study of sleep apnea, the sleep group deputy team leader of the Chinese medical association professional committee of otolaryngology head and neck surgery the throat group members, director of sleep medicine physicians branch committee of Shandong province. In addition, he is the deputy editor of Shandong University Journal of Otolaryngology, and editor of Clinical Journal of Otolaryngology head and Neck Surgery, and World Journal of Sleep Medicine. Furthermore, he is the reviewer of Sleep Breath, an authoritative professional Sleep journal. As the leader of sleep disordered breathing discipline in Shandong province, he made outstanding contributions to the individualized and multi-level surgical treatment. He is skilled in continuous positive airway pressure treatment, uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, soft palate and tongue root ablation, tonsil tonsillectomy and (or) adenoidectomy, partial tonsillectomy, and nasal cavity and sinus surgery, etc. At present, he has hosted six projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Program, and Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China, and he has conducted in-depth research on the cognitive impairment related to sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome. Furthermore, he is the editor-in-chief of the monograph "Sleep disordered breathing Disease", and has published more than 30 articles as the corresponding author, among which 6 are included in SCI, and he has trained 27 postgraduates up to now.
