Dr. Bin Jin obtained his Ph.D. degree from Hepatobiliary Surgery Qilu Hospital of Shandong University in 2003. From 2003 to 2005, he studied under Academician Wang Xuehao, a well-known hepatobiliary surgery expert, at Nanjing Medical University. His current society posts are Chairman of Shandong Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery College, Chairman of Laparoscopic Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery of Shandong Pain Medicine Association. In recognition of his contribution to Shandong clinical medicine, Shandong Provincial Health Commission awarded him "Qilu Hygiene and Health Leading Talent".

Dr. Jin has participated in more than 3,000 cases of various liver and digestive system operations, and performed more than 2,000 operations, including left and right hepatectomy, hilar cholangiocarcinoma radical resection, pancreaticoduodenectomy, etc.

Professor Jin, as a Ph.D. Advisor of Shandong University, has trained more than 30 master students and 2 Ph.D. students, and published more than 40 original research articles. Due to his outstanding contributions, in 2014, he won the third prize of Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
