Dr. Qin has been on the job for about thirty years. She had performed many new procedures in this hospital for the first time, such as phacoemulsification combined with micro-vitreoctomy, implantation of foldable capsular vitreous body, suspension of foldable intraocular lens, treatment of subretinal hemorrhage with tPA, etc. Dr. Qin is a member of the 10th ocular trauma group and 11st optic nerve group of Shandong Medical Association, also a member of the vitreoretinal group of the Chinese Society of Female Doctors, a member of the Asia-Pacific Ocular Imaging Society. Dr. Qin was a visiting scholar of Cardiff University of the UK. She has been in charge of nine research projects, and received three scientific research achievements of Shandong province, two new-technique awards of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, with more than thirty scholar publications.
