Xiuwen Wang, M.D., Chief Physician/Professor, Ph.D. Advisor, Director of the Department of Chemotherapy, graduated from Shandong Medical College in 1984 and went to Hartford Hospital Cancer Center in the United States in 1999 for a year of study. He was promoted to the chief physician in 2001. He is also a member of the Anti-tumor Drug Professional Group of the Expert Committee on Rational Use of Medicines of the Health and Family Planning Commission, a member of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO), a member of the Oncologist Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a member of the Shandong Biomedical Engineering Society Biological Oriented Therapy Professional Committee, and Shandong Provincial Medical Association Cancer Vice Chairman of the Professional Committee, Vice Chairman of Shandong Society of Clinical Oncology, and editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Lung Cancer, Journal of Shandong University Medical Edition and International Oncology Journal. He is rigorous and serious in his work, paying attention to comprehensive tumor treatment, as well as tumor-targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and palliative care, especially in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, gastrointestinal tumors, and genitourinary system tumors. He undertook two projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, several projects from the Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province/Shandong Science and Technology Program, and two third-class awards for scientific and technological progress in Shandong Province. More than 30 academic papers have been published in SCI source journals, and he is the chief editor of "Tumor Endocrinology".
